The Quickest and Easiest Seitan!

This is the quickest and easiest seitan recipe ever—it just takes 20 minutes to prepare and only requires 7 ingredients!

After the seitan has been fried, it is cooked through by covering the pan with a lid for ten minutes. The issue with this is that the steam from the covering causes the seitan to lose its crispy outside when it is fried.

Alternatively, there is a chance that it will burn before the seitan is fully cooked if you cover it and the pan isn't very moist.

In a large skillet or nonstick pan, heat 2 tablespoons of oil once the seitan has finished steaming

The seitan bites can be taken out of the steamer basket with tongs and dropped into the hot oil in the pan.

Take caution as it can spill. Fry the seitan bites for a few minutes on each side, or until they are crispy and golden brown.
