Men and women can participate in Goalball, it is a sport that is only which is only meant for the blind and the partially sighted. This is a sport that is played mostly on the gym floor and the purpose of the game is to bowl the ball into the opponent’s net as the other players try to stop the ball with their bodies. The noise bells on the The following are some of them;. 25-kilogram ball assists the players in finding the direction. That is why it is so interesting to watch; the athletes need to be very calm and the fact that it is held in a closed area adds on to the ambiance.
There are six players on each team, and each team can only have three players on the court at a time—one center and two wingers. A “goalball” is rolled toward the other team’s net, which is the width of the floor at each end. This is how goals are scored. The court where goalball is played has lines that players can feel so they can always know where they are on the court and which way they are facing. It’s important for there to be silence during play so that the players can listen, focus, and move. The game lasts 24 minutes, with a three-minute break in the middle of each half.

Track cycling
Women’s pursuit C4 Qualifying:- It’s no secret that Keely Shaw is a star in the women’s C4 Para cycle category, both on the track and on the road. As a woman, she won third place in the C4 3000m individual chase at the 2024 Para-cycling World Track Championships. For me, the best part of the road World Cup was getting third place in a race in Belgium at the second stop. In 2023, she showed how versatile she was again at the worlds for both road and track. She came in third place in the road time trial and second place in the freestyle pursuit. A few weeks after that, at the Parapan Am, she won the individual sprint track title.
Men’s pursuit C3 Qualifying:- Alexandre Hayward won gold in the C3 time trial and bronze in the road race at the first World Cup of 2024 in Australia. He then added a bronze medal in the time trial at the second stop in Belgium. He won silver in the men’s C3 scratch race at the track worlds in Rio. Hayward didn’t think he would be at the UCI Cycling World Championships in Scotland in 2023, after being sick with mononucleosis for a month. However, he did well and came in fifth place in the men’s C3 Para cycle road race, even though he had lost a lot of weight. After four laps, he was 11th after the first lap and 12th after the second. Then he caught up to a few other drivers.

Wheelchair basketball
People who want to see the best of the Paralympic Games often go to see wheelchair basketball. There are some small changes between it and the version for able-bodied people, but the basket height and three-point shooting lines stay the same. The equipment is made for players who can’t run, jump, or pivot because of a physical problem. At the Paralympic Games, there are different events for men and women. There are four 10-minute halves in a wheelchair basketball game, with a 15-minute break in the middle. If the score is tied at the end of the fourth quarter, there is an extra five minutes. Games can go into extra quarters if they need to in order to break a tie.
When a person takes control of the ball, they must dribble it, just like in able-bodied basketball. If you take more than two pushes on the wheels without moving the ball, you will be fined. When a person has the ball, they can’t touch the ground with their feet. Canada is one of the best in the world at this sport. In 1992, 1996, and 2000, the women’s team won gold. In 2004, they came in third. The guys have made it to the top of the podium at the last four Games. They won gold in 2000, 2004, and 2012, and silver in 2008.

Wheelchair rugby
Wheelchair rugby, which used to be called “murderball,” is a rough-and-tumble sport for men and women, most of whom have quadriplegia. To score a point, the player must fully cross the other team’s goal line. The game is played on a basketball court. A lot of things are happening all the time, like passing, moving the ball, and wheelchairs running into each other. This one-of-a-kind sport is a mix of basketball, handball, and ice hockey. Wheelchair rugby was first played in Winnipeg in 1976. It is now played in 40 countries, and plans are being made to bring it to many more.
