The Paralympic Games will start today on 28 August 2024 and will end on September 8, 2024, in Paris France. It will be the Summer Paralympic Games, and thousands of athletes will participate in the event. This time 4400 athletes from all over the world are expected to participate in 549 medal events in the 22 code sports. Some of the games will be played at famous structures in the city of Paris which includes the Eiffel Tower, Chateau de Versailles and the Grand Palis.

The Opening Ceremony Awaits Arrival At Paralympic Games participates in the 17th Paralympic Games which started from today! Unlike in previous games, the opening ceremony at a stadium will be held at such iconic places as Place de la Concorde and Champs-à-Lies where 4,400 paralympics shall be featured. The athletes will parade along the Champs-à-Lies, street while the closing ceremony will be performed in front of thousands of fans. The main idea is to gather approximately 15,000 spectators to make it unique! The games will open in Paris where athletes will be able to take part in 549 medal events across 22 sports for twelve days following the ceremony.

Paris Paralympics 2024 Games The information about the schedule of the Summer Paralympics to be held in Paris in 2024 were announced in the beginning of 2019 and remain the same as for the 2020 Games, with the total amount of 22 sports. An initial list of events across the games was outlined on the 8th of July 2022 and contained 549 events that would be conducted in 22 disciplines. Here’s the full schedule:

And this will happen for women, there will be 235 medal events, eight more than in 2020. With the participation in mixed grouper competition, more than 100 women is expected to take part in the competition, at least double that of Sydney 2000 Paralympics.
How to purchase the tickets for Paris Paralympics 2024?
You need to prepare yourself to purchase a ticket for the 2024 Paralympics happening in Paris here! Tickets will be available from 9 October 2023 as most shows come with limited ticket availability hence available to persons on a first come first served basis. The clients can buy 30 tickets at most and the prices are should be within the range of €15 to €700 depending on the event and place. In addition, remember the option of the official resale platform as the “Paris 2024 Tickets’ app just in case there are still tickets to a particular session available and that will be up for sale within the 12 hours before each session.
