Cristiano Ronaldo scored his 901st career goal on Sunday, rescuing Portugal's 2-1 victory over Scotland in the UEFA Nations League.
The 39-year-old scored from close range in the 88th minute to complete Portugal's comeback from a goal down in Lisbon.
Scott McTominay's stunning header in the seventh minute gave Scotland an unexpected lead, and despite persistent pressure, Portugal struggled to equalize.
That was until the 54th minute, when Bruno Fernandes scored from the edge of the box to tie the game.
Portugal pushed for a winner, with Ronaldo striking the post and Scotland goalkeeper Angus Gunn twice denying João Félix with spectacular saves.

This was his second goal in as many games during the international break, following his 900th career goal against Croatia on Thursday.
It was also his 132nd goal for Portugal, after scoring 450 for Real Madrid, 145 for Manchester United, 101 for Juventus, 68 for Al Nassr, and five for Sporting Lisbon.
