Tyreek Hill and his agent want the officers who detained him before Sunday's Dolphins season opener to be fired.
On Tuesday night, Hill's attorneys demanded the officer's “immediate termination” from administrative leave.
Hill's attorney said the officer “placed his hands on or around” his neck many times and “continued his escalation in his use of force” after Hill alerted him about his knee ailment.
The officers dragged Hill out of his car and handcuffed him after he was pulled over a few blocks from Hard Rock Stadium on Saturday. His agent, Drew Rosenhaus, criticized the officers hours earlier.
Hill was ticketed for seatbelt violations and speeding at a “visual estimation of 60 mph,” according to ESPN's Jeff Darlington.
