Goat cheese crostini with Grilled Chicken Salad

A grilled chicken salad and goat cheese crostini together form a classy and delectable dinner.

Ingredients: Baguette: 1, sliced into 1/2-inch round Goat Cheese: 4 oz, softened Olive Oil: 2 tablespoons (for brushing the bread) Honey: 2 tablespoons (optional, for drizzling) Fresh Herbs: such as thyme or rosemary (optional, for garnish) Salt and Pepper: to taste

Warm up the oven: Preheat the oven to 400°F, or 200°C.

Lay out the baguette slices on a baking pan to prepare them. Lightly coat each slice with olive oil.

Toast the Bread: Toast the bread pieces for five to seven minutes, or until they are crispy and golden.

Spread the Goat Cheese: After the bread pieces are toasted, take them out of the oven and cover each one with a thick coating of goat cheese.

Optional Toppings: If preferred, add a honey drizzle and a dusting of salt, pepper, and fresh herbs.

Serve: Warm or room temperature is OK.
