Jack Antonoff and Margaret Qualley went to the VMAs together. The artist and actress, who married in August 2023, arrived at the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards on Wednesday, Sept. 11, at the UBS Arena in New York smiling.
Antonoff, 40, wore a burnt orange button down, black slacks, a black braided belt, and his signature circle frame glasses to match the couple.
The Maid star, 29, wore a black velvet dress with a tulle-trimmed deep v-neck. Feather material formed an A-line drop-waist dress skirt.
Antonoff will attend the MTV awards after two nominations alongside Taylor Swift. Antonoff, Swift, and Post Malone were nominated for song of the year and best collaboration for "Fortnight," off Swift's latest album, The Tortured Poets Department.
The "Clara Bow" singer, 34, received eight nominations in addition to Antonoff's two.
She was nominated for video of the year, best art direction, best visual effects, best cinematography, best editing, and best direction for "Fortnight" alone. Swift was a best pop and artist of the year nominee.
The legendary producer collaborated with nominee Sabrina Carptener on her second single, "Please Please Please" off her third studio album, Short 'n Sweet. The song was nominated for best directing and art direction. This year's show nominated Carpenter, 25, for six categories.
"It’s wild," Antonoff said on Thursday, July 4, on Today of his success with both music singers. He dubbed Swift's TTPD success "crazy." The 2024 MTV VMAs telecast live from the UBS Arena in New York on Sept. 11 at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
