Mike Tyson has provided a concerning health report two months before his fight with Jake Paul at the AT&T Arena in Arlington, Texas on November 15 - the first event of its kind to be live streamed on Netflix.
It has already been postponed previously, when it was planned to take place in July but was cancelled due to a health crisis for the 58-year-old former heavyweight world champion.
Tyson had an ulcer that flared up, and both boxers agreed to postpone the bout until November since Tyson would not have been able to train at the required intensity.
According to Dexerto, Tyson was part of the commentary team for the Cage Wars event in New York on September 13, and when asked about his work ahead of the fight, he indicated things are "a little shaky".
"It's hard to walk right now," he remarked. "But two months from now, I'm going to be perfect."
Tyson said that he has sparred six rounds and that "the fight is won in the gym" as he will surely intensify up preparations in the following weeks.
Paul has no backup fighter prepared for this bout, therefore if Tyson is unable to perform, the event will most likely be cancelled.
Tyson stated in June, when the fight was initially postponed, that his body was in better general shape than it has been since the 1990s.
