Only two teams, including D.C. United, won all three points in a weekend of draws.

MLS Golden Boot leader Christian Benteke and Gabriel Pirani scored quickly to upset Chicago Fire. They beat the hosts with 34% possession, keeping their playoff hopes alive.

Seattle Sounders scored four past Columbus Crew in the west to enter our rankings.

Midfielder Sean Zawadzki played as the opposition goalie, but four goals on the road in a hostile setting is still impressive. Seattle also got a playoff lifeline.

The team that began to improve in our top 10 wears a bright orange like their future. Houston won four points over Western Conference giants LAFC twice. They defeated Hugo Lloris and held some great attacking players scoreless over 180 minutes. Two strong performances strengthen them.

Real Salt Lake survived the weekend's remarkable clubs despite not playing this week and sitting in seventh place. Their next game is Saturday in Houston against the team below them.

After resting, the Rapids also maintain their standings. Unfortunately, other outcomes prevented them from reaching the top half. Colorado now hosts a fiery Portland Timbers team on the weekend.
