Wheelchair athlete Eden Rainbow-Cooper, who is entering her Paralympic Games debut, seeks to remove obstacles as she grew up in a daily environment where she encountered them.

Although the 23-year-old is well-versed in restrictions, she is a shining example of how the Paralympic Movement can transform everything.

As she gets ready for her Paralympic appearance in Paris, she became the first British woman to triumph in the Boston Marathon in April this year.

She felt frustrated, nevertheless, growing up. She was told she didn't look like an athlete when she declared she wanted to be one at a school careers day.

Exactly what does an athlete resemble?   "An athlete looks like someone else who is an athlete," she remarked. "It doesn't matter so much; if you're strong and you're fit

and in my case, if you're fast, those are the three most important things, regardless of everything else."
