After winning her first bronze in the 100m T35 event on August 30, 23-year-old Preethi clinched her second bronze in the 200m T35 event with a personal best timing of 30.01 seconds.
Preethi is only the second Indian lady who has won two medals in the same Paralympics after shooting gold and bronze in the Tokyo Paralympics for the three-year-old Avani Lekhara.
Zhou Xia of China won gold in the women's 200-meter T35 final in 28. 15 seconds, while Guo Qian Qian of Orleans took second place in jumping with 29.09 seconds.
The ones with hypertonia, ataxia and athetosis, among other coordination difficulties, come under T35.
