Makes: 4-5 Croissant – 120 g unsalted butter – 80 g soft light brown sugar – 80 g granulated sugar – 2 teaspoons vanilla extract – 1 egg – 220 g plain flour
INGREDIENTS
– 1⁄2 teaspoon salt – 1⁄2 teaspoon baking powder – 1⁄4 teaspoon baking soda – 150 g chocolate, chopped (any chocolate works but I used dark) – 4-5 croissant
Melt your butter, then pour this into a large bowl. Add both sugars and the vanilla.
Aggressively whisk this for 1 minute. Add the egg and whisk this in. In a separate bowl, mix together the flour, salt, baking powder and baking soda.
Add this into your other bowl and mix until combined, then mix in the chopped chocolate.
Get a croissant and cut this in half, horizontally. Add some of the cookie dough onto the bottom half of the croissant
Continue until all of your croissants and cookie dough have been used.
After baking for 12 to 15 minutes in a preheated oven, these should be nicely crispy.
Once they have cooled down on the tray, they are finished. You can now choose to sprinkle some icing sugar on top of them if you'd like. Have fun!
